Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it — in plain English, without the legal padding.

Last updated: 11 September 2026

Who we are

Snaz AI is a sole trader business based in Sydney, New South Wales. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Snaz AI.

This policy covers both people who visit this website and people whose phone calls or messages are handled by AI systems we build for our clients.

What we collect from this website

  • Contact form: your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, your business name, and whatever you write in the message.
  • Analytics: which pages you visit, roughly which region you are in, your device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. This is not used to identify you personally.
  • Server logs: our hosting provider records IP addresses and request details as a normal part of running a website securely.

Recorded and transcribed phone calls

Some of the AI systems we build answer telephone calls on behalf of our clients. Where one of these systems is running, calls are recorded and converted to text so the AI can understand what is said, respond, book appointments and pass on messages.

If you are calling a business that uses one of our AI receptionists, you are told at the start of the call that it is recorded. If you do not want to be recorded, you can end the call and contact that business another way — by email, through their website, or by asking to be put through to a person.

Call recordings and transcripts belong to the business you called. We hold them only to operate and improve that system on their behalf. We do not sell them and we do not use them for advertising.

Why we collect it

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange a call.
  • To provide and run the services our clients have engaged us for.
  • To understand which parts of this website are useful, so we can improve it.
  • To meet our legal and tax record-keeping obligations.

Information sent overseas

We use established third-party services to run this business — for website hosting, email, scheduling, messaging, analytics and the AI systems themselves. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job.

Several of those providers are based outside Australia, which means your personal information may be stored or processed overseas, mainly in the United States. We take reasonable steps to use reputable providers with their own security and privacy commitments, but we cannot control the laws of other countries.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses analytics to count visits and understand which pages people find useful. Depending on the tool in use, this may set a cookie in your browser.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site works normally without them — nothing here depends on tracking you.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries: while we are in contact, and for up to seven years afterwards, because business records must be kept for tax purposes.
  • Analytics: for the retention period set in the analytics tool.
  • Call recordings and transcripts: for the period agreed with the client business that operates the system.

How we protect it

This site is served over an encrypted connection. Access to the accounts and systems holding personal information is restricted and protected by strong, unique passwords and two-factor authentication where available.

No system is completely secure. If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by law.

Getting access, corrections and complaints

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal information, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the business changes. The current version is always the one on this page, and the date it was last updated is shown at the top.
